KILLER RABBIT IS
TOM VOYTEK

I record, engineer, mix, and master music in Meriden, CT. I also write my own music in my free time, and frequently play live with The Shape. I fell in love with the guitar at age 8, and went on to be in many bands over the years. I later had the privilege of learning bass, drums, vocals, mandolin, banjo and on a good day, piano—but guitar has always been where my roots are.

I started to become interested in recording 10 years ago when I mixed my first track for my personal project, Nothing Bunny. Today, I’ve worked, performed, and wrote music with artists all over the country.

Killer Rabbit Productions is 4 years old, and just getting started. I’ve recently collaborated with Steve Wytas of Dirt Floor Studio and Nick Bellmore of Dexters Lab Recording.

Music has led my life in countless different directions over the years, and I am grateful for all of them, both good and bad. Making music, whether in solitude or in collaboration with others, is the thing that brings me the most joy in life. Other than that, all that is left to share is my love of spicy food, my girlfriend, and my pet bunny.

Hardware / software I use:

Apollo 8 UAD thunderbolt interfaces, custom-built iMac, Pro Tools 12, Studio one 4 Pro, Waves plugins, Izotope, Native Instruments, Soft Tube, Melodyne, Shure Mics, Steerling Audio Mics, Neumen mics, EVH amps, ESP guitars, JBL, Korg, Boss, MXR, Toontracks, Rivera custom-built isolation cab, Furman power conditioners
